About the Flyers

Wright is shooting 60.8 percent from the field and 75.6 from the foul line. He’s made 17 of his last 21 free throws. … The center duo of Kurt Huelsman and Devin Searcy are shooting a combined 28-of-42 from the field (66.7) and 20-of-26 from the foul line (76.9). … The Flyers have won a school-record 24 straight home games, the third-longest streak in the nation.

About the Blue Hose

Chase Holmes, a 6-4 sophomore, averages a team-high 13.9 points off the bench. … They’ve been playing a brutal schedule, losing to Clemson by 43, Illinois by 46, North Carolina by 39 and Ohio State by 30. After visiting Dayton, they’ll travel to Marquette and Florida. … Their only win against a Division I team is a two-pointer over Southern. … They’re ranked 278th out of 347 schools in the RPI standings.

FYI

The Flyers are just three wins from reaching 500 in UD Arena, which opened in 1969-70. The team will wear throwback jerseys from that season against Presbyterian. Ken May led the 1969-70 team in scoring with a 17.0 average, and George Jackson was first in rebounds with a 14.5 mark. UD finished 19-8, losing in the first round of the NCAA tournament.

Hey "hmmm", Butler currently has NOTHING to do with Wright States RPI as Wright State has NOT yet played Butler. A teams RPI isn't calculated on future opponents, it's calculated on games that have actually been played.

Hey UD Grad - not sure of rpi, but what is important is the post season -- ask your friend? what are the post season records of wsu vs. UD the past 4 years

The only thing that gives WSU a decent RPI is the fact that Butler is in their conference. Go to realtimerpi dot com and look at the numbers yourself. If Butler were not in their conference, WSU's rpi would be in the 200's right now.
