About the Flyers

After outrebounding foes by an average of 4.6 per game last season, UD is getting outboarded by 5.5 so far this year. ... The Flyers finished with a 1-2 record in the Puerto Rico Tip-off Classic, but had two frenetic comeback bids fall short. They cut an 18-point deficit to two before falling to Villanova, and they sliced a 15-point margin to three against Kansas State in another defeat. ... Marcus Johnson is just 1-for-15 on 3-pointers. ... The point-guard tandem of London Warren and Mickey Perry have a combined 26 assists and 24 turnovers.

About the Tigers

They beat Miami University, 82-71, before losing to Buffalo and Navy. ... They finished 12-22 last year and were picked to finish ninth in the 12-team Colonial Athletic Association. ... Coach Pat Kennedy, who had previous stints at DePaul and Florida State, is 20th among active coaches in victories with 475.

FYI

The Flyers’ sophomores have been outstanding. In addition to Chris Johnson’s consistent production, 6-9 forward Luke Fabrizius is third in scoring with a 10.8 average and has made 14-of-30 threes, while 6-3 guard Paul Williams is tied for fourth in scoring with an 8.0 average.

Huelsman might be doing his best but his best is NAIA best.

I don't know why Kurt is starting either. No score, no rebound, no defense = 0 production. Articles keep saying he does other things.....I call BS

Put Huelsgirl on the frakin bench. He is an embarressment to the program. Is Towson State a D-I program? If not, then Huelsgirl will have a great game. Huelsgirl is a D-III player.
