FAIRBORN — Molly Fox scored a career-high 30 points, but it wasn’t enough as Wright State dropped a 74-66 Horizon League decision to sub.-500 Loyola on Saturday at the Nutter Center.

The Raiders, who trailed the entire game, outscored the Ramblers 22-15 over the first 10 minutes of the second half, trailing by just two at 55-53 following a Kim Demmings 3-pointer, only to see the Ramblers push the lead back up to seven.

WSU (15-8, 8-3 HL) closed to within three twice down the stretch, the second being 64-61 on a Fox layup with 3:08 remaining, but would get no closer against the Ramblers, who improved to 10-12, 5-6.

Fox led all scorers, bettering the 28 points she scored against Detroit last season. She also posted her eighth double-double of the season by collecting 11 rebounds. Demmings added 14 points and six assists, but no other Raider managed more than six points.
