Local "perversion file"

Thousands of pages of documents were released Thursday by a court order that detailed how Boy Scouts of America and its local councils handled allegations of sexual abuse against its adult leaders from the 1940s through early 1990s. This case, from 1984 in Springfield, is among more than 1,800 existing files contained in the Boy Scouts "perversion files" that were released. More than 20 cases were found from southwest Ohio but this Springfield case is the only one for which original documents are yet available.
