Academy Award-winning actor Cliff Robertson will be among the presenters at the first annual "Reel Stuff" Film Festival of Aviation. Hosted by the National Aviation Hall of Fame, the three-day event will be held April 24-26 in Dayton.

The "Reel Stuff" Film Festival will celebrate the world of aviation as depicted through Hollywood feature films and independent documentaries. Each movie will be introduced by an actor, producer, aerial coordinator or cinematographer associated with its production.

"What better place to host the "Reel Stuff" Film Festival than the Birthplace of Aviation?" said Ron Kaplan, the festival's founding director. Kaplan also serves as the executive director of the National Aviation Hall of Fame (NAHF), which was established in 1962 in Dayton.

The film festival is open to the public, with all ticket and merchandise proceeds benefiting the Dayton-based NAHF Learning Center.

Robertson, a NAHF enshrinee who won the Best Actor Oscar for the 1968 film, "Charly," will introduce his 1964 World War II action-drama, "633 Squadron."

Presenters also include "Top Gun" aerial cinematographer Clay Lacy, "Battle of Britain" stunt pilot Wilson "Connie" Edwards and "One Six Right" producer Brian J. Terwilliger.

Additional films include "Fighter Pilot: Operation Red Flag," "Pancho Barnes," "Speed and Angels" and "Battle Hymn."

Films will be screened at Sinclair Community College Smith Auditorium, the Dayton Convention Center Theater and the National Museum of the United States Air Force IMAX Theater. An audience question-and-answer session will follow each screening.

Tickets are $10 per screening. A three-day festival package is $100 and includes a NAHF reception, priority seating and merchandise. Full-day passes range from $25 to $55.
