The venue at Fraze is great!!! I can’t wait for Hippiefest, and yes, I can afford the $$ to see some of my favorites from my bell bottom and sheepskin coat days. GOOD WORK FRAZE, and KETTERING!!!

I quit going to concerts in LA because the venues were so huge I might as well be watching TV. I’m going to pop for a ticket to CS&N at Fraze because of its size. Too bad no Y with them, I did see him a few years ago and he rocked!

The schedule is very interesting & diverse but I do think ticket prices are a little high. Even if they kept ticket prices the same but stop ripping off on the concessions - drinks, etc. are absolutely outrageously too much! And I agree with Marianne that they need to do something about their “StormTroopers”. I have never gone there once that they didn’t upset me in one way or other - very rude & act like they really enjoy being that way!

Zappa-he’s dead. Hendrix-he’s dead. John Denver-(ha!…”almost airborne, West Virginia”) he’s dead, Roy Orbason-he’s dead, Janice Joplin-she’s dead. Jerry Garcia, he’s dead. Carlos Montoya and The Five Piece “OOOGA” Band? Well, they killed themselves. Steven Stills? New liver?, new sound, (digestion? “STEVEN STILLS AND THE SOUNDS OF DIGESTION!), he’s digesting. Lawrence Welk???…was consumed by bubbles while trying to control the havock caused by gay bubble producers. Book anyone left, Fraze.

We went to see Weird Al at the Fraze last summer. It was great! Great weather, great venue & over all great performance. We are newer to the Kettering area & the Fraze did not lower our expectations of the area. I look forward the the free concerts I hear they hold during the summer as well. Lighten up people.

They should support the local talent more, like the Audible Influence

Think the ticket prices are way too high for an outdoor venue - don’t know about you, but I hate to pay $70 for a ticket and sit in the rain! Also, they need to do something about the storm troopers (ie security) at the gates and wandering the seating areas.

I think its amazing that a small venue like Fraze features such prominent acts. Trisha Yearwood, Bonnie Raitt, Cheryl Crow, Kenny Wayne Sheppard, etc. And I enjoy the outdoor setting (Personally, I think ZZ Top would have been even better at Fraze than at Nutter). I had more fun seeing Dwight Yoakum in the rain . . I cannot tell you!

Wow. I can’t believe how negative everyone is.
I went to see Crosby Stills Nash at the Fraze a few years back and it was amazing! There’s no way it would have been as good if it were at the Nutter Center or one of the other huge venues.
I think this summer’s line up at the Fraze is incredible - and definitely not overpriced.
Maybe if I were some Kettering or Oakwood rich snob I wouldn’t approve…Call it low class rock and hillbilly music all you want, I love it. Keep up the good work!!!!

There is nothing worth going to at Fraze, and there hasn’t been anything worht the $$ for several years now. People in KEttering should be upset because Fraze sure isn’t what it was supposed to be anymore!

I know one thing, I would never pay to see or Hear Ringo Starr or any of those groups or people he will have with him. He has been nothing since the Beatles broke up. Plus if I want to hear them, I wont pay money for it, I’ll camp out on the street and listen to them sing. Free baby..I don’t care to see them since it is the music one goes to hear. Last thin I want is some washed up singer that is getting my $$$

None! When the Fraze was being built it was advertised as a summer home for the Dayton Opera, the Dayton Ballet, the DPO, etc. Instead it has become a low-class rock and hillbilly venue. I think it’s time that citizens demand that the city quit underwriting this place with tax money.

Hippiefest for $57? What true hippie would pay that much for a bunch of 60 year-old washed up has-beens? What? Canned Heat wasn’t available?

Revolution-The Beatles Tribute band. A sell-out crowd at the fraze last year. The band was awsome. I saw people from retirement age to my kids ages (3&6) and everyone had a blast.
