Classic Miamisburg movie theater plans gala to unveil sidewalk stars

Miamisburg’s classic movie theater will hold its first gala fundraiser next month at the 98-year-old renovated downtown building.

The Plaza Theatre’s “Celebration of Stars” event Oct. 21 will include live and silent auctions. The movie house, which closed in 1968, reopened on Christmas Day 2015 – 96 years after its original opening date – after a $350,000 renovation.
