Dinner party helps sustain Human Race

What/when/where: The Fall Party of The Human Race Theatre Company on Saturday, Oct. 24, in the home of Miles and Karen Brazie and Kirk Stager, 90 Lakin Court, Vandalia. Cocktails begin at 6:30 p.m. Dinner will begin at 
7:30 p.m.

Why are they celebrating: The entertainment-packed party raises money for the Dayton professional theater company.

What’s in store: The event showcases unique food and upscale drinks from an open bar. Bring a pre-carved pumpkin for a chance at a prize in the carved pumpkin contest.

What’s the buzz: The hosts provide a personal touch to the swanky soiree. They personally selected the food and drinks that they will provide. Proceeds will be used to support The Human Race education and musical theater programs.

Hoping to raise: The group hopes to raise “lots of money” and raise awareness of its work.

Dress: Chic casual.

Tickets: $75 ($50 tax deductible), includes open bar, hors d’oeuvres, dinner and entertainment
