Attention ice skaters: The outdoor rink at RiverScape MetroPark, 111 E. Monument Ave., in Dayton is now open. Skate with friends or sit by outdoor fireplaces as sip hot chocolate from RiverScape’s Café Vélo. The rink is open daily. Monday through Thursdays, there is no admission charge, so if you have your own skates, you can practice your figure-eights for free. Don’t have a pair? No problem; skate rentals are just $3 on weekdays. Everyone gets into the rink for $5 on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays, and this cost includes rentals if you need them. The rink is open weekends through March 11 and even has special hours on Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve. Cost: $5, includes skate rental. All ages.
