DAYTON — If you’ve hesitated about Wicked tickets because of the price tag, here’s great news!
A day-of-performance lottery for a limited number of orchestra seats will be held daily from Wednesday, Feb. 17 through Sunday, March 7, at The Benjamin and Marian Schuster Performing Arts Center in downtown Dayton.
Each day, two and a half hours prior to showtime, people who present themselves at the Ticket Center Stage Box Office, located in the Wintergarden of the Schuster Center, will have their names placed in a lottery. Thirty minutes later, names will be drawn for a limited number of orchestra seats at $25 each, cash only.
This lottery is available only in-person at the box office, with a limit of two tickets per person and a photo ID will be required. Entrants must be present to win.
Good seats, incidentally, are still available at regular prices as well, with the best availability for the 2 p.m. matinee on Thursday, Feb. 18, and for select weeknight performances. Tickets are available for purchase online through Ticket Center Stage at www.ticketcenterstage.com. To receive up-do-date availability on all shows call (937) 228-3630 or (888) 228-3630 Monday-Friday 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. or Saturday 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. or purchase in person at Schuster Center Box Office at Second and Main Streets.
