It truly doesn’t matter where you are in the state, summer fun awaits regardless of the direction you choose to travel.

To guide readers on where to find can’t-miss attractions as well as some places off the beaten path, we turned to travel and feature writers throughout the state.

We’ve organized the attractions they came up with into five regions: central, northeast, northwest, southeast and southwest.

The result is this Ohio Travel Guide, chock-full of ideas, including thrills at theme and water parks, “wild” adventures at Ohio’s zoos and culturally satisfying experiences at myriad museums.

By no means does this represent everything to do, but it does present a sampling of road trip ideas that are easy on the wallet regardless of who your travel companions may be.

So peruse these articles for ideas, then start mapping out your summer adventures today.
