Clash Dayton, 521 E. Fifth St. in the Oregon District is preparing to walk on the naughty side during its Fetish Art Show, featuring local photographer Amanda Barbosa.

A photographer since 2001, Barbosa has occasionally dabbled in fetish photography since opening her own businesses, Amanda Barbosa - Photographer Portraits and  Events and Dayton Boudoir, starting in 2009.

She began exploring the art form more in-depth last fall as part of a collaboration with Cherish Harrell Brooks, the co-owner of the recently-opened The Secret Chamber House of Oddities in Fairborn.

“This has been a journey for me,” Barbosa said. “There is a market for it and there are not a lot of women (photographers) in the state of Ohio doing it.”
