Dayton’s 2011 senior class had only one senior starter, but he was a big-time player: Chris Wright.

That class became the all-time winningest class by winning 78-50 at Massachusetts in the first round of the A-10 tournament on March 8, 2011. Wright and his fellow seniors — Devin Searcy, Peter Zestermann and Logan Nourse — won 97 games and broke the record of 94 set the 2010 seniors and the 1955 seniors.

RANKINGS: 1-25, 26-50; 76-97.

Fittingly, the seniors who tied the record Friday by beating Rhode Island 75-74 in Kingston, R.I., were freshmen in 2013-14. Kendall Pollard, Scoochie Smith and Kyle Davis played with the likes of Devin Oliver, who was a freshman on the 2010-11 team starring Wright.

Here’s a look at 25 more wins from the past four seasons:

51. Nov. 20, 2013: Dayton 82, Georgia Tech 72

This was the first road game for Smith, Pollard and Kyle Davis. Former Dayton coach Brian Gregory had to agree to play the Flyers when he accepted the job with the Yellow Jackets. This was the first of two meetings, and the Flyers picked up a nice win on the way to the Maui Invitational. They flew there after the game. Devin Oliver and Jordan Sibert each scored 20.
