Chris Ivory rushed for 52 yards on 12 carries against the Patriots in Week 2. He was aggressive with each carry and showed some of the explosion and power that made him a standout at times last year with the Saints.
Fantasy impact: In a night where both teams struggled on offense, the Jets running game actually looked decent. Ivory is clearly the superior back, as he brings far more talent to the table than the plodding Powell.
While Ivory is likely going to continue to split time with Powell, he's worth keeping around on the bench. New York might eventually realize who needs to be getting the majority of the touches in the backfield. Ivory's stock is up after Thursday.
