Kent St 17 - Liberty 10
Collin Reardon had a solid debut, completing 21 out of his 28 attempted passes for 194 yards and 2 touchdowns. Dri Archer will be fine.
Bowling Green 34 - Tulsa 7
A trio of touchdowns really put these Okies away in the fourth quarter. William Houston scored all 3 of the Falcons' offensive touchdowns, rushing the ball 10 times for 29 yards.
Ohio 7 - #9 Louisville 49
Eastern Michigan 34 - Howard 24
101 rushing yards and a pair of scores for Bronson Hill helped the Eagles come back late in the game to beat the Howard Bison.
Miami (OH) 14 - Marshall 52
The Thundering Herd ran all over the RedHawks, putting up nearly 600 yards of offense in their first game of the season. Austin Boucher threw 10-for-22 for 165 yards with a touchdown.
Akron 7 - Central Florida 38
UCF's Blake Bortles threw for 314 yards and had three touchdowns against the Zips. This is Akron's tenth straight loss.
Northern Illinois 30 - Iowa 27
Hey, Kirk, why did you pick Toledo to win in Florida and not NIU over Iowa? Jordan Lynch did it all again, 331 offensive yards with three passing touchdowns. Mathew Sims knocked in the game-winning 36-yard field goal with four seconds to go.
Central Michigan 9 - Michigan 59
Highest scoring home opener for the maize and blue since 1905, and we all know how much they love their historical stats. Central's Cody Kater has a broken clavicle and Zurlong Tipton suffered a broken ankle.
Buffalo 20 - Ohio State 40
The Buckeyes opened up with 23 points int he first quarter against the Bulls. Khalil Mack had a 45-yard pick six.
Ball State 51 - Illinois State 28
After being down at halftime by 5, the Cardinals came back and outscored the Red Birds 35-7 in the second half. Keith Wenning and Willie Snead are probably the best quarterback-receiver combo in the MAC.
Toledo 6 - Florida 24
Not that Florida blew the Rockets out of the water or anything, but Toledo just could not get anything going on offense at all. Only 12 first downs and 1-for-13 on third down conversions.
Western Michigan 13 - Michigan State 26
Could've been worse, Michigan State could've had a halfway decent offense. Things really would've gotten out of hand if the Spartans had a reliable quarterback.
UMass 0 - #23 Wisconsin 45
No need to make any jokes against UMass, they've been through a lot as of late.
