We're into Week 11 and we surprisingly didn't have too many injuries on Sunday. That did change on Monday night, so his fantasy owners might have to think about other options.
Week 10 was relatively quiet on the injury front. Actually, there was more overall value at the position with guys like Andre Brown busting out with a 30-carry game. He joins a very select group of must-start backs this week and even though he was added via the waiver wire in almost every league, he probably has more value than some first-round picks like Ray Rice.
We're getting into the cold season. That means teams will be less apt to throw the ball and could be running it a bit more. It pays to have big running backs and this is why you invested those early picks.
Here's a quick look at some injury news:
Ray Rice - He's believed to be at less that 100 percent from his hip injury from all the way back in Week 2. He's a tough sell as a guy to use this week.
Shane Vereen - It's been a while, but Vereen could be back as soon as this week. Although, it won't be easy to play him in a Monday night game against one of the best defenses in the league going to visit the Carolina Panthers. He has to be owned in all leagues.
Andre Brown - He is definitely not hurt and he goes from hot pickup from two weeks ago, to must-start back now. His owners should have high hopes.
Percy Harvin - He's not a running back, but I just had to be selfish and throw him in here. Harvin is going to be very exciting in Seattle's offense.
Daryl Richardson - He might be out again with his foot injury. It's the Zac Stacy Show.
