Mad River Twp./Enon Fire & EMS officials responded to a rollover accident Wednesday, Dec. 30 on Interstate 70 about a mile east of Interstate 675 where three adults were trapped in a vehicle that flipped on its side. Two of the adults were taken to Miami Valley Hospital by Care Flight with critical injuries while the third victim was taken to Miami Valley by ambulance.

Kettering firefighters responded to 2101 Whipp Road on Saturday, Dec. 26, at a 12-unit, two story building at Heritage Knoll Apartments. Firefighters knocked down a small attic fire above one apartment. Ed Yike, Kettering Fire Department shift commander, described the cause as likely electrical in nature. The apartment's occupants were not at home at the time and no injuries were reported.
