On July 4th, 1776, the Declaration of Independence was approved by the Continental Congress, setting the 13 colonies on the road to freedom as a sovereign nation. Each generation has their own Man of Steel. For our grandparents, it was Action Comic's version. Our parents, George Reeves donned the cape. For us it was either Christopher Reeve or Dean Cain .
