MIAMISBURG — A green-building symposium will be held on Aug. 8-9.
The two-day event is being presented by the Home Builders Association of Dayton and the Miami Valley as well as the Energy and Environmental Building Association. It will be held at the Holiday Inn, 31 Prestige Plaza, near Dayton Mall, organizers said.
Topics will include marketing green homes, earning Energy Star certifications, learning more about the energy code and discussing case studies of Energy Star and green homes, organizers said.
The event, according to its organizers, will benefit homebuilders, remodeling contractors, architects and designers, real estate agents, building code officials and appraisers.
