Darfur survivors to tell their story Monday at UD

Survivors of deaths in Sudan's western region of Darfur will tell their stories as part of Voices from Darfur, a national speaking tour sponsored by the Save Darfur Coalition, at 7 p.m. Monday in the Kennedy Union Boll Theatre at the University of Dayton.

Voices from Darfur, launched this summer, highlights speakers such as Daoud Hari, who fled his village in 2003.

Extras

Hari was a translator for the New York Times, BBC, and National Geographic, among others.

This public event is free. Those driving from off-campus can obtain a B lot parking pass by driving through the UD Visitors Center upon arrival. For more about the event, go to voicesfromdarfur.org.
