Greenon High School commencement was held at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 24, at the Wittenberg HPER Center.

Valedictorian finalists were Brittany Burkholder, Olivia Hiddleson and Lindsey Hinton. Salutatorian finalist is Kristin Smith.

Scholarship recipients

Meagan Ashley, daughter of Alicia Zerby and Shaun Ashley, will attend Ohio State University. She has been offered a total of $14,150 in renewable and nonrenewable scholarships by Ohio State and the Springfield Foundation.

Brittany Burkholder, daughter of David and Lori Burkholder, will attend Cedarville University. She has been offered a total of $22,290 in renewable and nonrenewable scholarships by Cedarville and private organizations.

Dylan Carroll, son of Sandra Carroll, will attend Bowling Green State University. He has been offered a total of $39,250 in renewable and nonrenewable scholarships by Bowling Green and the Springfield Foundation.

Ryan Christopher, son of Dale and Margaret Christopher, will attend Wittenberg University. He has been offered a total of $73,740 in renewable scholarships by Wittenberg.

Dustin Conway, son of Lisa Conway, will attend Clark State Community College. He has been offered a total of $3,700 in renewable scholarships by Clark State and Tech Prep.

Briana Cowart, daughter of Charles and Carol Cowart, will attend Bowling Green State University. She has been offered a total of $19,000 in renewable and nonrenewable scholarships by Bowling Green and the Miami Valley Chapter of the Credit Union League.

Matthew Crider, son of Mark and Rebecca Crider, will attend the University of Toledo. He has been offered a total of $47,124 in renewable scholarships by Toledo.

Kevin Dorney, son of Chuck and Pat Dorney, will attend Wright State University. He has been offered $5,000 in renewable and nonrenewable scholarships by Wright State and the Miami Valley Chapter of the Credit Union League.

Virginia Annette Dubie, daughter of Earl T. Dubie II, will attend the University of Kentucky. She has been offered a total of $8,800 in renewable scholarships by Kentucky.
