It all started with some socks.

A story about bamboo socks appeared in the Dayton Daily News in February, along with the reviews of the socks by some of our staff.

We decided that our opinions were fine, but yours would be better. So we asked if any of you would be interested in reviewing products.

Several hundred phone calls and
e-mails later, we picked a testing team.

The DDN gets the products from marketers and merchandisers and the testers are given the products for free. They are theirs to keep. There is no compensation.

The 12 women we selected try the products and determine if they like them, if they lived up to the claims of the manufacturer and if they were worth their suggested retail value.
