Community Blood Center/Community Tissue Services needs volunteers to serve as guest relations ambassadors. We have openings in Springboro, Beavercreek, Jamestown, Englewood, Fairborn, Cedarville and Xenia.

Dayton Habitat for Humanity needs volunteers on the Family Services Committee to help new homeowners become responsible homeowners, become engaged members of a neighborhood and become self-sufficient. Requires an 18-to-24 month commitment of approximately 2 hours per month.

Humane Society of Greater Dayton needs volunteers to assist the technology coordinator in Web layout and design to make sure the site is up-to-date and user friendly. Volunteers must be design savvy and at least 18 years of age.

The National Kidney Foundation Serving Ohio is seeking volunteers to help plan and execute the 2009 Dayton Kidney Walk. A volunteer information reception will be held 6 p.m. Monday, April 13, at the Dayton Library - Kettering Moraine Branch Community Room. Must be at least 18 years old.

Woodland Cemetery needs a volunteer group to help paint the fence surrounding the cemetery before Labor Day. Painters must be at least 14 years old and have adult supervision.
