CHOCOLATE SHOP WILL HOST A 
CANCER BENEFIT

CENTERVILLE — Bellbrook Chocolate Shoppe, located in the Crosse Pointe Shopping Center at Ohio 48 and Ohio 725, will host its 10th annual “All You Can Eat Chocolate Party” from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25, benefitting breast cancer awareness. A portion of proceeds will go to provide mammograms for underserved and underinsured Dayton-area women, the chocolate shop’s owners said. Tickets are $15 and are available at the shop or by calling (937) 436-5066.

LOCAL VERSION OF ‘AMAZING RACE’ COMING OCT. 31

DAYTON — The Miami Valley Restaurant Association’s first “Amazing Race in the Oregon District” will be held at 3 p.m. Oct. 31 in the Oregon District. The entry fee is $40 for teams of two. For details on how to enter, e-mail Amy Zahora at amy@dineoutdayton.org.

WINE AND ‘SPIRITS’ ON MENU AT THE INN IN VERSAILLES

VERSAILLES — Michael Anthony’s at The Inn at Versailles will host a “Wine and Spirits Dinner” at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30. The special guest is James Willis of “Ghosts of Ohio,” whose team has investigated rumors of a possible haunting at the inn and will share his team’s findings and tell of experiences elsewhere around Ohio. A multicourse dinner will be served that will include samples of wine varietals that diners may not be familiar with. The cost is $85, and reservations are required.
