Pittsburgh also welcomed an eaglet this week, the Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania reported.
The chick's arrival in Hays is almost nothing short of a miracle after a tree holding the first nest and egg was blown over in a storm last month. The eagles quickly found another tree, built a nest and laid an egg.
