Absolut’s vodka and white wine blend has finally hit the Miami Valley, and the Wine Gallery is among the few stores in the area to sell it, said Brian Linnean, the downtown Dayton business’ owner.
He said Absolut Tune has been flying off his shelves since it arrived a week ago.
“It’s an easy drink,” he said of the of the sparking blend of Absolut vodka and New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc wine.
He said the concoction released late last year tastes good on its own or mixed with a citrus mixer or liqueur like Limoncello.
It comes in a Champagne-shaped bottle with a wrap that is ‘zipped’ open.
Linnean likened the taste to the sparkling wine Prosecco.
The introductory price is $27 a bottle. It is 10 percent off in six pack cases at the Wine Gallery, 5 W. Monument Ave., Dayton.
