With the sizable Baby Boomer generation nearing retirement age, maybe the movies will begin telling more stories for the "active adult" market. Offering them a film that directly reflects their lives and has as upbeat a conclusion as any teenage romantic comedy, director-writer Susan Seidelman (Desperately Seeking Susan) is hoping her target audience will abandon the shuffleboard courts for the multiplex.
