COLUMBUS — Ohio's unemployment rate climbed in June, increasing to 6.6 percent from 6.3 percent in May, according to data released on Friday, July 18, by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.

"Workers continued to enter the labor force in June at a rate greater than actual hiring demand," Helen Jones-Kelley, ODJFS director, said in a press release.
