I am DEFINITELY going to try out for this show. I have applied three times before this but you have to send a video tape and that is always an issue. You never come off the way you really want to be. So I am excited to have an open casting call close enough to go and be seen in person. I love the show, and I’ve always said I’m going to be on that show someday. It’s not a waste of time it’s an opportunity for fun and excitement in your life. The game is fun and so is the money!

How exciting, I am getting married the end of April and I will be at the mall with a girlfriend looking for a dress to wear, “something simple”, this is last minute and not a whole lot of money to spend, I have 3 boys and 1 graduating in June, I would love to meet Howie, I love his bald head and would like the chance to face off with the banker.See you all Saturday!

My husband and I are planning on driving down from Warren, ohio. (About 4 hours) We can’t wait. Ever since the show started people stop him everywhere we go and tell him he looks like howie. We about gave an old lady a heart attack last time we were in South Carolina, she would not belive he wasn’t Howie! I don’t know about our chances of getting on the show, but I definitely am looking forward freaking out a few of the people in line!

I love the show. Howie Mandel is fabulous. I would love to be on the show. I’m a very outgoing person and I laugh a lot and always have lots of fun. I would love to meet the banker. I love the comments he makes to the people who are playing. You couldn’t have picked a better banker and you couln’t have picked a better host. Hope to see you soon.

This has to be FATE!!!! I just lost my job and I’m desperately trying to earn some BIG money. It was just yesterday, that I started researching reality shows that would give me an opportunity to win big. Thought about “Don’t forget the lyrics” but I can’t sing, “Are you smarter than a Fifth-grader”…well, I have a third grader, and I’m not sure I’m much smarter than her, so probably wouldn’t do well on this show, “The Amazing Race” isn’t currently seeking racers…that leaves DEAL or NO DEAL!

It has nothing to do with the Monty Hall problem. In that, Monty Hall knows where the prize is and purposely shows you a door without it. A switch is indeed correct in this case, as you would have a 2/3 chance—google it for an explanation if necessary. However, if nobody knows what is in the cases, and you somehow manage to defy the odds and leave the $1 Mil case in play after opening 24 cases, it is DEFINITELY 50/50 at that point—if you really cannot see that, then I cannot help you.

Lamest show ever. An amoeba has more than enough intelligence to play. Why don’t they just pick the case, open the damn thing or not, and be done with it? I watched it once to see what all the fuss was about and am sorely disappointed that I’ll never get that hour of my life back. Ugh!

If you get on the show ALWAYS take the deal.
The show lies about the laws statistics and probability. If you pick a case from 26 cases and then you’re down to two cases, you don’t have a 50/50 chance. Your chance is still 1 out of 26. Always swap the case.
If you don’t believe me, google for the Monty Hall Statistics Problem.

Those selected will undoubtedly be the most obnoxious, fake-enthusiastic people you could ever meet—and the people waiting around them will probably want to pound their face in while waiting for their turn. I predict a complete freakshow—props, gimmicks—no thanks. They should have a pre-screener that just tells 99% of the people “NO” right away…no forms, no wait—just a “you are not camera friendly—please go back to the trailer you came from—NEXT!!!”

no real strategy, it is just stroke of luck. Banker will try to get you with the bids, good luck to those on the show.

Yes..we are going to try out. Couldn’t imagine winning the opportunity to go, but my husband is very lucky and I have a feeling he just might get picked. As for the ladt who said she wished it was n Dayton, you can drive to Piqua in less than 35 minutes..it really isnt that far to try to win that much money. Even if they take out half on taxes, its better than what we have now..which is nothing..haha I would be happy walking away with 20,000 at this point..I wont be greedy :)

I like the show but I will NOT be there cause its too far for me to drive. IF the tryouts were closer then maybe. They should have tryouts here in Dayton, Ohio.

What kinda line would you think there would be? I would be interested in going (temporarily laid off right now anyways) but not sure I would want to spend the whole day “trying out”… Does anyone know if only one person per family or house-hold is able to “try out”…. guess I could go to the website to find out…

Would love to try out but don’t like the outcome with the money you win. In an interview with Howie Mandel, he states” The Show is a huge success in Canada also but the difference between the two countries is that in Canada you don’t have to pay the IRS so much of your winnings like you do here in America. Contestants put a lot of efforts in winning shows only to lose a lot of their winnings to Uncle Sam!

Oh Yeeeeahhhh. I will definitely be there. I love the show and always tell my friends “I’m going to be on that show one day.” Why? Because it’s the only game show where ya don’t have to know nothin’ to win! That’s the show for me. :o)

I never miss a “Deal or No Deal Show”. My dream is to be on that show and I hope my dream comes true. I went to see Howie in Las Vegas and he is so funny - best show I’ve ever been too. This would be a lifetime experience to make it to the show!

You have to pay your way and the way for your guests to California. The application is 11+ pages long and you need picture of you and the people you’ll have on stage.

The first season I loved the show. Watched every episode and thought Howie was a great host.
Since then, I’ve gotten to where I will watch almost anything else because the pace (forced tension) is sooooo slow it puts me to sleep.
I haven’t decided whether to try out or not though. Hey, money is money!
