DAYTON — A Troy High School teacher was put on administrative leave Wednesday after police arrested him and three other men Tuesday on suspicion of public indecency at Triangle Park.
They were arrested Tuesday evening after undercover Dayton officers said they observed them engaging in sex acts in a park shelter.

Prosecutors approved charges of misdemeanor public indecency against two of the men. No charges were filed Wednesday against the teacher and the remaining man.
Police Lt. Patrick Welsh said police commonly run this kind of undercover operation in the park and other areas where public sex and prostitution are common, and it was not the result of a particular complaint.
"It's part of our patrols," Welsh said. "We're pretty intense in our efforts against this activity all the time."
