2 hurt in crash; SUV stops against house

HARRISON TWP., Montgomery County — Two people were injured Sunday night when a sport utility vehicle stopped against a house after a two-vehicle collision.
According to the Montgomery County sheriff's office, a Nissan Pathfinder and a Chevrolet Malibu were northbound at a high rate of speed on Klepinger Road at about 11 p.m. Sunday when the Malibu tried to turn left onto Ark Avenue. The Pathfinder went around the Malibu to turn onto Ark also and the vehicles collided. The Pathfinder went into a yard and stopped against the house in the 4000 block of Klepinger.

The Harrison Twp. Fire Department had to remove a female passenger trapped in the Pathfinder. She and a passenger in the back seat were taken to a local hospital with injuries that weren't believed to be life threatening.
The report said the sheriff's office continues to investigate the incident. No names were released and no more information was available early Monday.
