— A former nursing home aide accused of hitting a male resident in the face is scheduled to be in Greene County Common Pleas Court next week on a charge of patient abuse.

Keyetta Keller, 22, is free pending arraignment Feb. 16. The charge stems from a report by Wright Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 829 Fairborn-Yellow Springs Road in Fairborn, accusing Keller of hitting the resident July 10.

Keller was terminated, center director John Lawson said. She was indicted Feb. 1, the same day the Ohio Department of Health found the allegation was true and declared Keller a person "not in good standing" with the state nurse aide registry, officials said.
