The Warren County Drug Task Force and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation said they seized 45,000 dosage units of pseudoephedrine from Ghazi's residence in Greene County and from his business. Ghazi had been accused of selling methamphetamine and pseudoephedrine to an undercover task force officer for several months.
Psuedoephedrine is a key ingredient in the production of methamphetamine, commonly known as crystal meth.
According to the task force, the amount of psuedoephedrine seized from Ghazi could be used to produce approximately 4.4 pounds of methamphetamine the task force estimated has a street value of $250,000.
