A roundup of unusual and noteworthy items from area police departments:
TROY— April 7: Police responded to a residence on Pearson Court on a domestic dispute. The complainant reported the subject came to her residence and was intoxicated. He began to argue with the complainant. The subject was told by police to leave and he stated he had no place to go and was dropped off. The officers told him a cab would be called and the subject said they would have to "foot the bill" because he didn't have any money. He also stated they'd arrest him for being intoxicated in public if he left the residence. He continued coming up with excuses as to why he couldn't leave the premises. The subject began to taunt the complainant when he called a relative to pick him up. He was told to make arrangements to be picked up. He stated, "No, she's picking me up right here." He was arrested for disorderly intoxication due to refusal leave the property as instructed. The subject was transported to jail where he was searched and his belongings gone through. After several minutes the subject asked, "Am I going to jail?" It appeared he wasn't aware he was already there.
