HARRISON TWP., Montgomery County — After 110 years of business, Willow View Cemetery in Harrison Twp. has decided to catch up with the times by opening a cremorial garden.
"When I took over four years ago, we didn't have any place for people to put their ashes," said Willow View manager Robert Booher.

Today, Booher, along with the president of Willow View Cemetery trustees and the Harrison Twp. trustees, will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 1 p.m.
This ceremony, which will formally open the newly built and landscaped garden, is open to the public. The garden measures 50 feet by 50 feet and has room for around 500 burials.
Booher said he has seen an increase in the amount of cremorial gardens being put into other area cemeteries in the past few years, and decided that it was time that Willow View do the same.
"This August will be Willow View's 110th anniversary, so I thought a cremorial garden was something we needed to keep up with the times."
Willow View Cemetery is at 2500 Neff Road in Harrison Twp.
