About our ads"That's the extent of the detail we're giving right now," police Sgt. Jim Wuebben said. "The investigation is still ongoing. We've got a lot of unanswered questions."
Sean Greene is charged with murder, voluntary manslaughter and tampering with evidence in the death of his father. He's being held without bond in the Greene County Jail in Xenia.
According to Wuebben, police responded shortly before 6 a.m. to the Greene home near the Indian Ripple Shopping Center on a report of an attempted suicide. They found Dale Greene deceased at the residence.
"We haven't had a homicide in Beavercreek in more than five years," Wuebben said.
Wuebben said police likely would provide more details on Monday.
The Greene County Coroner's Office is assisting with the investigation.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Beavercreek police at 426-1225 or the Tip-Line at 320-7393.
