Joseph, 45, said his goals include building Cox Ohio's share of the regional media market in all the company's businesses, among them online products, commercial printing and direct mail.
Joseph joined Cox Ohio Publishing in 1995. In his current role, he has been responsible for advertising sales, distribution, manufacturing, finance, information systems and human resources.
He also oversaw the planning, design and operations of Cox Ohio's printing plant along Interstate 75 in Warren County .
Franklin, 50, has been with Cox since starting in 1977 as a door-to-door circulation solicitor for Dayton Newspapers.
Franklin is a board member and president-elect of the Inland Press Association, a national organization representing more than 2,000 newspapers. Asked what he will miss upon leaving Ohio, Franklin said: "The people — all the friendships and partnerships with my colleagues in the business and in the community.
