FacebookConvention Center reports increased bookings

DAYTON — The Dayton Convention Center completed the first three months of 2008 with a 37 percent increase in room bookings from the same period of 2007, management said.
Bookings for this year so far include the Winter Guard International Competition last week, the Ohio American Legion convention July 11-13 and the Dayton Auto Show last month.

The center's facade was remodeled in 2007. New elevators are to be installed at the adjacent Transportation Center parking garage in early 2009.
