TROY — A Miami County grand jury has indicted a Shelby County man on a felony count of gross sexual imposition for allegedly improperly touching a 10-year-old boy at a church-sponsored youth program between June 2006 and late December 2007.
Seth M. Glazier, 24, of rural Houston was initially charged on Dec. 26 in Miami County Municipal Court, where he pleaded not guilty. The case subsequently was presented to the grand jury, which returned the indictment last week.
Glazier has been free on a recognizance bond with the condition he has no contact with the boy or the boy's family.
Reports filed by sheriff's detectives said the boy reported he was touched three times by Glazier during activities held by the Ginghamsburg United Methodist church-sponsored youth program. Glazier was a program volunteer.
Ginghamsburg Church Pastor Mike Slaughter said earlier this year Glazier was a student at United Theological Seminary in Trotwood and no longer had any contact with children through the church and its program.
Glazier's arraignment is scheduled for Tuesday, July 1, in Common Pleas Court.
