A roundup of unusual

items from area police departments:

DAYTON — July 29: Officers went to investigate a criminal trespass complaint at Biltmore Towers, 210 N. Main St., after a resident reported the trespassed subject was on the property.

The officers responded to the apartment that the subject was seen entering and heard a male and a female voice. Those voices stopped when the officers knocked.

An officer advised they knew the subject was inside and that anyone who tried to hide her would be charged with obstruction.

The subject was advised she'd only be charged with criminal trespass if she came to the door.

The resident eventually opened the door and said the subject wasn't there and that he hadn't seen her in about a week. He allowed the officers inside to look for her.

One officer opened a closet door, saw a large pile of clothes, and located the subject in the pile. The subject and resident were arrested on charges of criminal trespass and obstruction of official business, respectively.
