Air advisory alert issued

An air pollution advisory has been issued for Montgomery, Clark, Greene and Miami counties for today, Sept. 3, because of forecasted high levels of particle pollution and ground-level ozone, the Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission said Tuesday, Sept. 2.
Residents are asked to eliminate outdoor burning, reduce driving, use carpools and refuel and mow lawns after 6 p.m. to help reduce the particle pollution and ground-level ozone.
People with heart or lung disease, older adults and children are considered at greater risk.
