Cuba Gooding Jr. visiting Dayton on Monday

DAYTON — Academy Award-winner Cuba Gooding Jr. is scheduled to be in Dayton on Monday, Oct. 6, for a voter registration push.

Dayton will be among several stops Gooding will make as he headlines "Register for Change" events Monday across Western Ohio to urge Ohioans to register to vote before Monday's deadline, according to the Obama for America campaign.

At each stop, Gooding Jr. will rally supporters and volunteers to register to vote and cast an early vote for Obama, according to the campaign.

Gooding Jr. is scheduled to be in Hamilton at 9 a.m., then in Dayton at 10:30 a.m. at Sinclair Community College, 444 West Third Street.

He will also hold events in Lima and Toledo.
