Palin plans stop in Wilmington

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is heading back to southwest Ohio on Thursday, this time for a rally in Wilmington.

The Republican vice presidential nominee is scheduled to stop at The Roberts Centre, 123 Gano Road, on Thursday, Oct. 9 at 4 p.m., according to johnmccain.com.

Those wishing to attend may RSVP via the site.

The visit will mark Palin's first visit to southwest Ohio since she and presidential nominee Sen. John MCain stopped by The Golden Lamb in Lebanon.

Palin was scheduled to attend a Sept. 16 fundraising breakfast in Indian Hill, but the event was postponed in the wake of the damage inflicted by a windstorm two days before.

According to the website, ticket locations and hours also include:

• Warren County GOP headquarters: 30 West Main St. Lebanon, 513-932-6089. Hours: Monday-Sunday 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.

• Greene County Victory Center: 3317 Seajay Drive, Beavercreek, 937-431-5000. Hours: Monday-Friday 9a.m.-9 p.m.

Saturday 10 a.m.-7 p.m. and Sunday Noon to 9 p.m.
