TROY — A candidate for Miami County recorder pleaded not guilty Tuesday, Oct. 7, to charges of driving under suspension and having expired license plates on his car.
Lucas Hile, 25, of Troy was released on a recognizance bond following arraignment in Miami County Municipal Court.
He was cited last week by the county sheriff's office after a stop on Stanfield Road, near his Troy residence.
He did not return telephone messages regarding the charges.
A pretrial conference was scheduled Tuesday for Nov. 13.
Hile is running as a Democrat on Nov. 4 against Republican incumbent John Alexander of Piqua.
