Democratic VP nominee Biden in Kettering today

Democratic vice presidential nominee Joe Biden will be in Kettering today, Oct. 31, to kick off a two-day tour across Ohio.
Sen. Biden will speak at Trent Arena at Fairmont High School in Kettering, 3301 Shroyer Road, at 2 p.m. Doors for the event open at noon.
The event is free and open to the public. Tickets are not required, but an RSVP through www.oh.barackobama.com is encouraged.
Republican presidential nominee John McCain held a rally at the same arena on Monday.
Fairmont students will be dismissed at 1:30 p.m. today.
Matt Wahrhaftig, general manager of Trent Arena and executive director for the Kettering Education Foundation, said the school district charges candidates $1,500 a day for use of the facility, as well as custodial expenses and incidentals.
Later today, Biden will hold a rally at Lima Senior High School, 1 Spartan Way.
Obama is expected to visit Ohio on Sunday. The McCain campaign is also dispatching McCain's running mate, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, to Ohio on Sunday. None of those stops are expected to be in the Dayton area.
