Man worried about damage to toilet seat cover
Sunday, November 23, 2008
A roundup of unusual and noteworthy items from area police departments:
DAYTON — Nov. 14: A resident in the 300 block of South Main Street called police after he was in a fight with his girlfriend.
The resident reported his girlfriend went into the bathroom, grabbed the ceramic toilet seat cover off the toilet and hit him in the head with it. The cover bounced off, hit the floor and broke.
The resident was more concerned about the damage to the seat cover than being injured. He refused medical attention and said he felt fine. He also refused to seek charges and wanted no further police involvement in the matter.
Drunken suspects point fingers at one another over thefts
KETTERING — Nov. 17: Two male subjects reportedly breaking into vehicles in the 1000 block of Tabor Avenue were located in the area of Hazel Avenue and Ewalt Avenue. The men admitted to being in the area, but accused each other of stealing from the vehicles. Neither confessed to his own involvement. The subjects, both of whom had been drinking, were charged with alcohol offenses involving underage persons. The thefts were still under investigation at the time of this report.
