Man reportedly sleeping it off in middle of road

FAIRBORN — Sept. 20: A man was reportedly passed out in the street at North Boulevard and West Funderburg Road. When an officer arrived, a driver had parked her vehicle in the middle of the road to partially block the subject from oncoming traffic.
Attempts to rouse him were unsuccessful and a sternum rub was administered. There was an odor of alcohol about his person and his speech was slurred.
The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct by intoxication and issued a summons for underage consumption. While en route to jail he told the officer it wasn't necessary to be so aggressive with him because he was only sleeping. The officer advised that people aren't normally that hard to wake up.
