KETTERING — William Brennan, professor of Social Work at St. Louis University, will be the guest speaker during a Dayton 40 Days for Life Campaign that will be held Sunday, April 5.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held at 7 p.m. in room 104 of the Incarnation Parish Center, according to Mary Britt, spokeswoman for the Dayton 40 Days for Life Campaign.

There will also be a rally held at 2 p.m. on the same day at the Dayton Women's Health Center, 1401 E. Stroop Road. The public is also invited to attend, but encouraged not to park in the parking lot of Mamma DiSalvo Ristorante.

Sunday's events will end the pro-life campaign that focused on 40 Days of prayer, fasting, grassroots educational outreach and peaceful vigils at abortion facilities. Dayton was one of at least 130 cities across the country to host the campaign.

Jenny Belokonny, director for the Dayton campaign, said Sunday's rally "marks a beginning of renewed commitment to ending abortion in our community. We look forward to seeing what God has in store next for our city."
