MIAMI TWP., Montgomery County — Whether for children to expend pent-up energy, or for company team building, the new BounceU indoor play land of giant inflatable toys and slides makes for a fun time, said BounceU owners Dejay and Sherri Hayn of Springboro.
The couple on Sept. 27 opened the brightly colored business at 2109 Lyons Road in Miami Twp.
In addition to a party room and conference room, BounceU has nine red, white and blue, giant inflatables that offer everything from football super toss, T-ball, dodge ball and basketball, to a 60-foot obstacle course and giant slide, boxing arena and air cannons.
"It's a great way to be physically active and have a lot of fun at it," Sherri Hayn said. "And with our Spectac-U-lar party, parents, literally, do nothing but enjoy themselves and take pictures. We provide everything you need. We serve and take care of the cleanup."
Spectac-U-lar parties are $399 and include an hour and 15 minutes in each of the 4,000-square-foot inflatables rooms and 45 minutes for a private pizza and cake party. Children are given goodie bags, which includes area merchant coupons.
Children are assigned to party groups and three party professionals make sure everyone is involved and having fun, Hayn said.
Sue Jackson regularly brings her daughters Nora, 6, and Kylie, 3, to play at BounceU.
"It's awesome. My kids love it. They would come everyday if I'd let them," Jackson said.
A big benefit, she said, is that while her children play, she can get caught up on work in the conference room, which also has a large-screen television.
"There's just so much variety," Jackson said. "The kids never get bored with it."
The Hayns are planning to implement circuit training for moms, to be led by fitness instructor Kelli Sedwick.
BounceU has several special events, including Family Bounce Night and play dates.
The township held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for BounceU and made it easy for the couple to open their business in town, Hayn said.
"They went above and beyond anything I would expect in being welcomed to the community," Hayn said.
"The ceremony was wonderful and a very emotional moment for me."
