MCL Restaurant cafeteria offers All You Can Eat Fish Fry Fridays

A Kettering restaurant calls it the "All Y'All Care To Eat Friday Fish Fry" — and its special offer is available only on Fridays in October.

MCL Restaurant & Bakery — better known to many of us well-seasoned local diners as "MCL cafeteria" — charges a scant $5.39 for the all-you-can-eat Southern Fried Catfish special. The restaurant is located at 4485 Far Hills Ave. (Ohio 48).

“We hand bread every delicious piece in cornmeal and fry it up southern style to a mouth-watering golden brown,” the folks at MCL said on their Facebook page. The special is good for dine-in only.

The Kettering MCL is the brand’s only restaurant in the Dayton area. The only three other Ohio locations are in suburban Columbus. The chain operates 11 restaurants in Indiana, and one in Illinois.
